When your child is enrolled with Heart & Soul, our staff will provide a structured learning environment and provide them for with skills and knowledge required for kindergarten enrollment. Additionally, Heart & Soul offers a Christian based program developed around monthly themes in which students are introduced to monthly Bible verses. Students are also led in prayers which are spoken or sang before snacks and meals. Spiritual holidays are emphasized through songs, plays, as well as arts & crafts in the classroom.
Below we have a complete description of each one of our classrooms and activities. If you have further questions in regard to our programs, please feel free to contact our director: Isabelle Dusch.
We offer programs for children ranging from infant to Pre-K. If you have any questions about these programs, please feel free to contact us.
With the help of our staff, we set our students on the road to educational excellence and paves the way for a positive desire to learn. Babies 6 weeks to 18 months rely on their teachers to meet their needs. Primary caregiving is part of our infant program, which offers infants a greater opportunity to form stronger attachments with their teachers and to move through their development with the ability to trust others and form relationships. Developing trust and an ability to form positive attachments are important needs of an infant. Additionally, our infant program introduces language, socialization, independent exploration, listening, and the development of conceptual and visual abilities in the context of their surroundings.
Infants and small children must bring diapers, change of clothing, pacifiers, prepared bottles and sipping cups. Each item must be clearly marked with the child’s name.
Every moment in our Toddlers class is an opportunity to learn something new. We want to build opportunities that will help children grow their minds and bodies, as well as their social skills. Self-feeding, potty training, and getting into a routine are all encouraged, but children are given choices through interactive play and learning facilities. At this stage, we gradually introduce the STEM programs by introducing mathematical skills through counting, shape matching.
Between the ages of three and five, children develop a strong awareness of the people and places around them. They're learning how to develop friendships with their peers, how to follow social rules, and how to ask questions about the things they see, hear, and sound. Our teachers lead these young students through appropriate social interactions and provide them with a range of learning opportunities. We offer a conducive environment to encourage the children to realize their abilities in the STEM program.
Children aged above 3 years are engaged in healthy and enjoyable events. Following a structured day at school, children are given the opportunity to engage with fun activities.
